PROACTIVE QUALITY's primary manufacturing function is Quality. Every detail is built exactly to Design specifications. Our process allows each detail to be manufactured concurrently to decrease total Build time.
Our Design department uses zero base line construction. Each detail is built to a fully dimensioned detail print. This gives the machinist a well-defined project to complete, before moving to the next detail. This process, also, allows each machinist the ability to concentrate on the task at hand, without interpreting the Quality aspect of the detail.
Details requiring CNC contouring come to the machines complete with G-Code. The designer creates all check surfaces. The CNC programmer takes the provided surfaces and together with the machinist decides on the machining methodology. The CNC programmer creates the cutter path and provides it to the machinist. The details requiring contouring are being processed through Build as the programming is getting completed. As the detail is ready for contouring, the only task for the machinist is proper orientation of the detail. This also ensures Quality by giving the machinist a well-defined project to complete.
details in the priority established at customer approval. This helps the assembly department by allowing one hand to be asembled and sent for Quality certification, while the details for the opposite hand are being completed in the shop. All assemblies are certified before shipping.
