The Design Center operates many CAD and CAM programs depending on customer needs.  The CAD programs include AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD 14, AutoCAD 12, and Catia.  The CAM programming includes MasterCam, SurfCam, and EspritCam.  Each program is capable of handling complex solids, and surfaces.
Our HAAS VF-2 Vertical Machining Center with a machining envelope of 30" x 16" x 20".  This machine holds 20 tools, and is capable of English and Metric machining.  The VF-2 machine has a high-speed controller capable of 500 IPM.  It also has a 20 HP vector drive motor, and 10,000 RPM spindle.  This allows us to machine stock ranging from synthetic wood to pre-hardened steel.
This is our DCC Brown & Sharpe Validator.  It has a check envelope of 72" x 48" x 36".  The software os Metromec Geometric, and has full capabilities to analyze part geometry and facilitates inspection reports.  The DCC programming facilitates rapid turnaround on multiple part inspections, and high quality gage certifications.
